One of the many spots where muggs resided when covering the Cannes film fest.
Right on the Croisette between the Carlton and the Martinez hotels, it was well positioned as an operational base. Certainly, Mike Nicolaidi thought well enough of it to take this snap.

Hy Hollinger & Sam Arkoff – Hy regularly attended Sam's lavish lunches at the Hotel du Cap, just outside Cannes, where Hollywood's big players checked in for a few days. But was it business, or just lifestyle? For Sam it was both.
